Happy 3:16 Everybody!

Happy Hump Day,

and....

Happy Stone Cold Steve Austin Day!!!

Yes that's right, It's 3:16 you sons of bitches, so drink a damn beer in honor of ol' Stone Cold.

And in honor of this momentous occasion, I thought I'd celebrate by presenting my all-time top 5 favorite SCSA matches.

5). Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Dude Love (Over The Edge '98)

This was truly one hell of a match, with Foley and Austin giving the fans their all in this mega-intense match that had the odds stacked against Austin with McMahon as the special guest referee, and his stooges taking up the roles of the time-keeper and announcer.

4). Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Kurt Angle (Unforgiven 2001)

This was pretty damn good match where Kurt Angle was the good guy/face going into it, and Austin the heel, as this was during Austin's heel championship run. Angle's win this night came fresh off the heels of 9/11, making his win that much more important to American morale in general.

3). Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Triple H (No Way Out 2001-3 Stages Of Hell Match)

My favorite match of theirs from their rivalry, this match debuted the 3 Stages Of Hell match, which was basically a 2 out of 3 falls match, but ramped up with a gimmick in each match. Hell of an ending, but one that showed off how exciting and unpredictable a match like that could be.

2). Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. The Rock II (Wrestlemania X-7)

My favorite match of their 3 Wrestlemania match series due to the sheer brutality shown here, and the shocking heel turn NOBODY saw coming at the time.

1). Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Bret "The Hitman" Hart (Wrestlemania 13)

This match involving the infamous double-turn at the end, was THE one single match to get fans solidly behind Stone Cold enough to convince Vince McMahon to give him a push to an eventual WWF World Heavyweight Championship run.....And Austin didn't even win, but he never quit either.

What are your favorite SCSA matches?
