"What If?....Hal Jordan was Emo?"

What's up y'all?

Ha ha, welcome to another thrilling post from yours truly, Mr. Morbid.

Anybody watch Arrow and American Horror Story:Asylum last night?
Oh good God they were both awesome as hell, as both shows really hit it out of the park for this week's respective episodes.

Arrow gave us the arrival of The Huntress, or at least the person she'll become next week. So glad Ollie's finally found his match and a woman that truly understands his mindset, as we were introduced to the lovely Helena Bertinelli and her father's mob empire that's dwindling down fast by the time we're introduced to them.

And much like the comic series, well the pre-52 one, she has a mad on for her gangster father, which is all due to him having killed off her fiancee. From there she wages a one-woman war on his empire, and of course Arrow gets dragged into it. But then he was already going after her father anyway for the hit on some associate that nearly killed his mother, thus sparking his interest in Mr.Bertinelli.

A bunch of things happen and Arrow winds up facing off against her, and then teaming up with her towards the end, after she's been discovered by her father's partner. At the end, they decide they're the only two people that really gets each other and then they proceed to go do the vertical tangle/naked pretzel.

Next week shows a transformed Helena Bertinelli in full costume as The Huntress, as Arrow's now training her. Glad he's got a crime-fighting partner now, but you just know shit's going to go bad eventually. It just has to. Still, it's going to be a fun ride, so I can't wait until next week.

AHS is also continuing to entertain me, with all of the constant plot twists and turns every episode. I love how every time there's a sliver of hope for each one of the characters, something happens to fuck that up, ensuring that no one's going to get a happy ending, no matter how deserving they are of one. Love it!

And now for the main event, a brand new skit featuring Black Hand and my new addition to the family, Black Lantern Hal.

Enjoy:)

Extra:

Ha ha. No seriously, my BL Hal figure has a small, but very noticeable poo-stained streak on his right cheek. And no I don't why that is, but the Mr. Hanky explanation works for me:)

Have a good weekend folks.......

"You might be a Native American if...."

Happy Hump-Day people!

Today's another quickie, but a goodie featuring Apache Chief and Jonah Hex.
And yes, I'm well aware they live in completely different eras, but I didn't let a silly thing like realism stop me. No sir, in imagination land anything can happen. Just ask the Republicans:)

On with the show......

Huh. Maybe Apache Chief got up on the wrong side of the Tee-pee this morning? LOL:)

Anybody watching, or still watching Sons of Anarchy?

Last night's episode was damn good as usual, with the all the plots and sub-plots leading up to one hellacious showdown for next week's season finale(already?)

Spoiler Alert

Clay's out of the club, with his patches gone, and even his club tats were inked over(now that's a helluva way to totally kick someone out)

Also that nurse that was killed has a brother who's a former US Marshall and has a mad-on for the club, so he's gunning for them now.

Tig's lined-up to be set-up to be killed, by Jax no less.

Oh, and it looks like Jax's wife just might take the kids and leave. Hmm. drama, drama, drama. And I love it!

Like I said, everything's coming to a head with the season finale coming up, and damn is it gonna' be fun watching all of the fireworks.

Enjoy:)

"A Horse For Jonah Hex"

Happy Cyber Monday people!

Still hungover from all of those Black Friday and weekend sales?
I know I would if I ever was foolish enough to indulge in all that crap.

Well regardless of where you fall on the topic, here's a little something to hopefully distract you for a minute.

It's Jonah Hex in his first ever skit, so give the man a hand as he breaks his skit-cherry here @ The House.

Enjoy:)

Extra:

Okay so I borrowed that last line from the movie Clerks 2. Sue me. Actually no, please don't. Hey, that's one of my favorite lines from that movie, amongst so many others.

Also, does the title of today's skit kinda', sorta' sound vaguely familiar?
Well if you're an old westerns fan it should. It's a take off the Clint Eastwood classic western "Two Mules for Sister Sara" w/Shirley McClain

Now I don't usually care too much for old westerns, but that one's actually pretty good.
And come to think of it, I could see Jonah Hex in that role as well for a future issue of All-Star Western. You know, minus the possible inter-species erotica part:)

"Somebody that I used to know"

Happy Turkey Day people!

Gobble, gobble and all that:)
I thought I'd show off some funny Turkey Day pictures I found online, you know, as a way to celebrate the holiday.
Enjoy!

Continuing on with the special week of all-new skits, I've been saving the best for last. Well at least I think it's the best of the bunch so far.

So, without further ado, prepare yourself for the funny, and enjoy:)

Oh come on, how can that last part not be funny:)
Oh, and for the record, FDR's one of my favorite presidents too.

Don't eat too much, unless there's many, many toilets free in the house.
Have a good one people.......

"You're not the same anymore"

What's up people?

So tomorrow's Turkey Day, what are you guys going do? Got that Turkey/Ham/Duck/Turducken/Veggie Roast yet? If not, you better get cracking.

Anyhoo here's another brand new skit for you guys, as I continue a special week of nothing but new skits. Because you know, I like you guys:)

Enjoy:)

Who knew right?

Of course in the new 52, Eclipso's actually supposed to be coming back in a big way, as has been shown in All-Star Western and Team 7. So at least there's that, but how powerful will he be this time?

Got Nipples?

What's up folks?

A short one today, but one that follows up on last week's skit, "Just waiting in a friend."
You know? That's the one where Animal Man was waiting on his buddy B'wana Beast to show up.

Well he did. And not exactly in the best of shape either.

Enjoy:)

extra:

Say it, don't spray it, right? Poor B'wana Beast:(

On a more positive note, last week I stumbled upon a new comic book store that opened up right next to a favorite Mexican restaurant of mine. It had been open for two week at the time, and I was just fucking ecstatic  No really!

There hasn't been a comic book store in town for the last 4 years, so to see this, blew my mind.
It's called Nuklear Comics, and it's run by a very nice war veteran named Barry.
His main goal was to have a comic book store that was kid-friendly and open to everyone. And so far, that's what I've seen. Because you know, some comic book stores, the guys behind the counter can be complete dicks or snobs, and no one enjoys having to put up with that; especially not during these tough times in the industry that's trying to lure in new and young readers. So this guy's a very refreshing breath of fresh air, and I hope he stays in business a looooong time:)

So, naturally I bought a few things:)
Well not a few, but a lot really, and true to form, mostly figures(but some comics too)

I bought Jonah Hex(loose, but w/all his guns), Modern Booster Gold(Loose w/o Skeets), Mr. Miracle(loose), BL Hal Jordan, and the new(at the time) Brightest Day Green Arrow, who's looking very pimp I might add. He's what the current TV version of him should look like, so expect him to show up in future skits. Well all of them really, as the ideas are just swirling around in my head already.

Oh, and I also bought the the 1st Marvel Legends Beast figure. I was surprised that he doesn't have an ab-crunch, but everywhere else he's articulated out the ass. Oh and his mouth/jaw moves up and down, so you can actually pretend he's talking to you. You know, if you're into having pretend conversations with an action figure;)

Have a good one people.....

"Closing time. You don't have to go home but you can't stay here."

Well..... I kinda always knew this day would come, and it sure has. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's time to for it end. Ti...
